I moved to Alaska 2 summers ago. It was a crazy idea that solidified unexpectedly and before I knew it I was driving through Canada in the ol' jeep
with my entire life packed to the ceiling (and some, strapped to the roof). It was by far the best decision I've ever made, but also very challenging at first. Now that I've been here awhile, I realize I have never felt more at home anywhere. The snow, the small towns, the sense of community, my friends, the endless adventures, the mountains, the midnight sun, the local music (especially festivals) the rivers, the glaciers are all reasons why I've fallen in love with this place.
